RN - Med Surg
Job Details:
• Work as a member of the interdisciplinary team providing nursing care through application of the nursing process
• 16-hour NBO (needs-based overtime) available
• 36-40 hours per week with overtime billable after 40 hours, or 48 hours per week with overtime billable after 48 hours
• Every 4th weekend and holiday rotation required
• Work required 2 of 3 winter holidays (Christmas, New Years, or Thanksgiving)
• Patient ratios: Days/Evenings 1:5, Nights 1:6
• 24-bed unit capacity
• Float between Med Surg and Stepdown units
• Care for medical surgical, neurology, and oncology patients
• Experience required administering heparin, cardizem, and amiodarone
• Must have 2+ years of med surg experience (will accept first-time traveler with 2 years experience)
• EPIC EMR experience required
• Required certifications: BLS (AHA), NIHSS
• Iowa nursing license required
• Same day interviews available
