Job Description

Join New Directions Mental Health as a Licensed Mental Health Therapist and provide culturally sensitive outpatient therapy to individuals and families. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to enhance client care while enjoying a supportive and growth-oriented work environment.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct culturally sensitive, strength-based assessments for new clients and families
Provide tailored outpatient individual and family therapy
Develop comprehensive crisis plans, safety plans, relapse prevention plans, and wellness plans
Participate in case consultations, agency meetings, and discharge planning
Ensure timely completion of billing, documentation, and individualized treatment plans
Engage in collaborative care with psychiatrists, nurse practitioners, dietitians, and fellow therapists

Required Qualifications

Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Marriage and Family Counseling, or a related field
Independent license (LPC, LCSW, LMFT) per state regulation
Educational background that leads to or has resulted in professional licensing
Strong commitment to ethical practice and maintaining confidentiality
Excellent communication skills and ability to build rapport with clients and families
