Position Overview:
As a Travel ED RN, you will provide high-quality emergency care to patients experiencing acute illnesses and injuries. You’ll play a critical role in stabilizing patients, coordinating with physicians, and ensuring timely and effective care in a fast-paced environment.
Assignment Details:
Contract Length: 13 Weeks
Compensation: Up to $2,100 per week (based on experience)
Shift Schedule: Variable shifts depending on facility needs
Weekend/Holiday Requirements: Rotation as scheduled
Job Responsibilities:
• Provide skilled nursing care to patients with emergency medical conditions
• Assess, monitor, and document patient status, interventions, and progress
• Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team members for comprehensive care
• Utilize critical thinking to respond quickly in urgent situations
• Educate patients and families regarding treatment and discharge instructions
• Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with facility protocols

Education and Certification Requirements:
Active RN License (Alabama or Compact State)
Basic Life Support (BLS) – required
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) – required
Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) – preferred
Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) – preferred
Minimum Experience: 2+ years of Emergency Department experience
