Key Responsibilities
Provide exceptional customer service to all consumers and clinic staff
Fill prescription orders and make them available for verification under the supervision of a Registered Pharmacist
Order, receive and store incoming pharmacy supplies
Receive and process wholesaler medication orders
Verify medication stock and maintain inventory records
Assist the Pharmacist in pharmacy functions and compliance with regulations
Perform various clerical duties
Communicate effectively both verbally and in writing
Other duties as assigned
Required Qualifications
Active and unrestricted Pharmacy Technician license in Louisiana or the ability to obtain within 90 days of hire
Ability to use a car to travel to the Lake Charles site when needed
Access to reliable transportation & valid US driver's license
Preferred Qualifications
National Pharmacy Technician Certification
Pharmacy and prescription data entry experience
