Key Responsibilities
Conduct patient assessments and prioritize data collection based on immediate conditions
Perform ongoing assessments and appropriate treatments as ordered by a physician
Document patient findings and provide education and support to patients' families
Provide bedside care for a variety of patients, including pre- and post-op patients
Prepare, administer and record prescribed medication
Change dressings, insert catheters and start IVs
Prepare equipment and assist physician during examination and treatment
Participate in discharge planning and initiate patient education plan
Required Qualifications
BLS certification
NIH certification
1-2 years recent acute care experience
