Job Description
Join the Jewish Board as a Crisis Behavioral Health Clinician and make a significant impact in the lives of children and young adults facing mental health crises. You will provide culturally competent crisis interventions, collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team, and engage with families to foster recovery and resilience.
Key Responsibilities
Monitor CMCT email and respond to crisis referrals
Perform risk assessments and psychosocial evaluations
Create safety plans with clients and families
Develop and implement short-term service plans
Utilize evidenced-based practices for clinical interventions
Maintain case documentation in electronic health records
Participate in team meetings and case conferences
Assist with intake process for new consumers
Enhance communication with Family Advocates
Required Qualifications
Licensed Mental Health clinician
Valid NYS Driver's License
Minimum of one year of relevant experience with similar client population
Proficient reading and writing in English
Preferred Qualifications
Bi-lingual clinicians if relevant to the population serviced at site
