Job Description

Join USAA as a Customer Service Advisor, where you'll provide outstanding support to business owners in an inbound sales environment. With extensive training and a focus on member satisfaction, you will help clients navigate insurance and risk management solutions while working remotely.

Key Responsibilities

  • Determine customer needs and provide solutions using a consultative approach
  • Build relationships with members, nonmembers, and insurance carriers
  • Limit agency Errors & Omissions through proper documentation
  • Classify businesses and provide accurate risk management solutions
  • Research industry trends and improve understanding of regulatory issues
  • Operate advanced Agency Management Systems and CRM platforms
  • Calculate Insurance to Value on various property types
  • Ensure risks are effectively identified and controlled according to policies

Required Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or General Equivalency Diploma
  • 2 years of insurance sales and service experience, including 1 year in a Commercial Insurance agency
  • Valid Property and Casualty insurance license for home state or ability to obtain it
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • 4 or more years of Commercial Lines Insurance experience writing new business
  • Experience with Agency Management Systems and/or Salesforce
  • Experience working in a call center environment
