As the Medical Director for National Accounts, you will drive strategy to enhance healthcare services while managing costs. You will collaborate with clients and internal teams to deliver innovative healthcare solutions, ensuring high-quality care and population health for members.
Key Responsibilities
Lead client and producer facing activities including presentations and meetings
Interpret clinical data and review cost/spending trends
Act as a strategic thought-partner for key clients
Develop and deliver Healthcare Solutions related materials
Support ASO Line of Business activities such as business planning and development
Required Qualifications
Medical Degree (M.D./D.O.)
Completed residency preferably in adult based primary care specialty (e.g. internal medicine, family practice)
Active, unrestricted California State Medical License
Minimum 10 years managed care experience
At least five years clinical experience
Experience with California managed care marketplace
Previous experience in national, complex account management support
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong quantitative and analytic skills
Excellent interpersonal communication skills
Demonstrated ability to model a collaborative approach
Strong negotiation and creative problem-solving skills
Strong skills with Microsoft Office Suite
