Job Description
Join Williamson Health as a Medical Social Worker (MSW) where you'll provide vital counseling and support to patients and families navigating health challenges. Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure effective discharge planning and resource utilization, making a meaningful impact in the community.
Key Responsibilities
Provide short-term counseling and crisis intervention for patients and families
Conduct psychosocial assessments and substance abuse evaluations
Collaborate with healthcare teams and community agencies
Manage discharge planning and appropriate referrals
Educate patients and families on resource utilization
Required Qualifications
Master's degree in social work or comparable Master's level degree
Licensure by Tennessee Health Related Boards in Social Work
Experience in a hospital or clinical setting
Preferred Qualifications
LCSW preferred
Good verbal/written communication skills
Familiarity with Meditech and Allscripts Care Management
