As an EMT-Paramedic at BioLife Plasma Services, you'll play a vital role in ensuring donor safety and quality plasma collection. You will evaluate donor eligibility, manage adverse events, and support health and safety initiatives in a collaborative environment that transforms patient care.
Key Responsibilities
Determine donor eligibility to donate plasma
Manage donor adverse events and review laboratory test results
Support plasma center operations under guidance of Center Manager and Center Physician
Evaluate donor reactions and manage medical emergencies
Support vaccination programs for employees
Manage employee incidents and refer to EHS guidance as necessary
Required Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent
Currently licensed or certified as EMT-Paramedic
Current CPR and AED certification
Fulfill state requirements for basic IV therapy
Two years in a clinical or hospital setting
Preferred Qualifications
Satisfactorily complete FDA approved training requirements for BioLife Medical Support Specialist
