The Enterostomal Therapist is a specialized nurse providing acute and rehabilitative care for patients with gastrointestinal, genitourinary, and integumentary disorders, focusing on ostomy, wound, and skin care. Candidates typically hold an Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in Nursing, are registered nurses with several years of acute care experience, and possess certifications related to enterostomal therapy.

Overview:
