Key Responsibilities
Performs various CT procedures on computerized equipment
Administers IV contrast in accordance with department policy
Evaluates CT scans for technical quality and collates processed images
Instructs and prepares patients for imaging procedures
Maintains equipment and accessories, reporting problems to supervisor
Positions patients for CT scans and ensures proper scanning protocols
Required Qualifications
Certified by the State of California Department of Health Services in Diagnostic Radiology (CRT)
One year of progressively responsible and directly related work experience
Preferred Qualifications
Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing
Knowledge of anatomy, physiology and congenital/acquired pathology
Knowledge of imaging processes and fluoroscopic techniques
