Key Responsibilities
Modify and teach an inclusive curriculum
Collaborate with families and Special Education teams to develop IEPs
Create an inclusive environment for self-guided learners
Analyze student work samples and ensure compliance with IEPs
Gather academic growth data for annual IEP meetings
Provide small group and one-on-one instruction
Build positive relationships with students and families
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university
Demonstrated interest in impacting K-12 students in urban schools
Academic expertise in Special Education or related fields
Eligibility for New York state certification
Preferred Qualifications
1-2 years of experience in teaching
Experience with developing Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
