Job Description
Join Albany Medical Center as a Clinical Nurse IV, where you'll play a vital role in providing compassionate care to patients. Your expertise will help implement treatment plans, assess patient conditions, and collaborate with a dedicated nursing team to ensure high-quality care.
Key Responsibilities
Implements physician orders and administers medications
Starts IVs and performs treatments and procedures
Orders and evaluates diagnostic tests
Assesses patient needs and responses to care
Provides primary and emergency care for injuries and illnesses
Collaborates with the nursing team to create a Plan of Care
Directs and guides ancillary personnel
Required Qualifications
Graduate of a professional academic nursing program with a Diploma, Associate Degree, or Baccalaureate Degree
Current NYS Registered Nurse license
Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
1-3 years of previous clinical RN experience in Med-Surg or Progressive Care
Excellent communication, prioritization, organizational and time-management skills
Knowledge of quality concepts, principles, and problem-solving tools
