Key Responsibilities
Assist with administrative and clinical tasks such as scheduling appointments
Update patient information in EPIC
Take patients’ vital signs
Support the delivery of cost-effective and clinically competent healthcare
Required Qualifications
Graduate of an accredited school with hands-on training in a clinical setting for medical assistants
Graduate of a registered medical assistant apprenticeship program
Completed two years of medical training in the U.S. Armed Forces
Minimum one year of work experience as a medical assistant including obtaining vital signs, administering injections, and medication administration
Washington Medical Assistant Certification upon hire
National Provider BLS - American Heart Association within 30 days of hire
6 months Healthcare experience
6 months Medical Assistant experience
