RN Position Job Notes:
Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:
• Work 12-hour rotating shifts: 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM or 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM
• Guaranteed 36 hours per week
• Rotating weekend schedule
• No call requirements
• Float to other units as required per hospital floating policy
• Must have 2+ years ICU experience
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIH REQUIRED
• Active Texas RN license required (no temporary licenses accepted)
• Must have experience with hemodynamic monitoring including Swan-Ganz catheters and arterial lines
• Ventilator management experience required
• Strong critical thinking skills essential
• Preferred skills: IABP exposure, CRRT exposure, Meditech charting/order entry experience
• Care for post-CABG, post-VAD, and post-catheterization patients with various cardiac support devices
• Work with IABP, Impella, and ECMO equipment
• Use Meditech documentation system
• Must badge in and out for shifts and take full 30-minute lunch break
• Clock in time 6:38 AM/PM required (after 6:45 is considered tardy)
• Dress code: Navy scrub top and pants, navy or white scrub jacket
• Body art should be covered when possible, visible piercings other than ears prohibited
