About The Position

RN - Behavioral Health (Adolescent Unit)

• Location: Brattleboro, VT
• Start Date: 7/28/2025 (must be able to start this date - no exceptions)
• Duration: 13 weeks
• Shift: Nights (7:00 PM - 7:30 AM)
• Hours: 12-hour shifts, 36-48 hrs/week guaranteed
• Weekends: Every other weekend
• On Call: Possible
• Notes:
  • Block scheduling not approved
  • Must be willing to float to other units as needed
  • Must be willing to take charge shifts as scheduled
  • Missed shifts must be made up before contract end
  • Local accepted on different rates

Job Description:

• Adolescent behavioral health unit - must be comfortable and experienced
• Work with multidisciplinary team to identify needs and interventions
• Provide clinical supervision of MHWs
• Focus on co-occurring psychiatric and substance use disorders
• 24-hour care environment emphasizing stabilization, education, and recovery

Submission Requirements:

• 5+ years RN experience required (with inpatient psych experience within last 3 months - LTC not accepted)
• Adolescent psych/behavioral health experience required (must list age groups on resume)
• Must be willing to float and take charge shifts
• Will consider first-time travelers

Certifications Required:

• BLS (AHA)
• CPI (can be obtained onsite)

State License Requirements:

• Vermont (must be willing and eligible to obtain)
