Job Summary

• Responsible for nutritional care and follow up of patients, as well as communicating information to other health care professionals. Assist in quality assessment audits, in-service and community education programs.

Job Requirements

• Education

  • Required: Bachelors from an accredited University Program 

• Experience

  • Required: Completion of an Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics (AND) approved internship or coordinated undergraduate program

• Skills

  • Reading, writing, mathematic calculations pertinent to position, computer skills

  • Excellent communication skills

  • Able to follow direction and work well as a team player

  • Able to stand for long periods of time

• Licensure/Certification/Registration

  • Registered Dietitian with State Licensure or Registry eligible with successful completion within 90 days of hire.

  • Maintains registration with Commission on Dietetic Registration
