The position is for a Board Certified or Board Eligible Family Medicine Physician to join a well-established outpatient primary care practice in Decatur, IL. The role involves providing healthcare services to patients of all ages with strong community support, a Monday-Friday schedule, and minimal on-call duties. HSHS Medical Group is recruiting a BC or BE Family Medicine Physician to join our Primary Care team in Decatur, IL. HSHS Medical Group works in partnership with Hospital Sisters Health System. Decatur is home to Millikin University, and the Millikin Decatur Symphony Orchestra. Decatur is a quick drive from Champaign and Bloomington, and also has it's own airport making travel extremely easy. Decatur also has it's own lake, which allows a wide variety of different boats access to the lake, including small sailboats. Education Qualifications

  • Clinical doctorate is required.
Experience Qualifications
  • Competence in delivery of healthcare services for adolescents, adults and geriatric patients is required.
Certifications, Licenses and Registrations
  • Licensed physician in the state of practice is required.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) is required.
  • Maintain a Controlled Substance license for the state and Federal DEA, when applicable to their specialty.
  • Must have successfully completed, or in the process of completing, an accredited residency program.
  • Must be board certified or board eligible.
