As a Lead Therapist at Carrollton Springs, you will play a crucial role in enhancing community health by providing exceptional care to patients struggling with psychological and emotional issues. Your expertise will guide patients through therapeutic treatments, while you also oversee counseling services and support the development of new staff.
Key Responsibilities
Perform social services functions and assist patients with bio-psychosocial needs
Counsel patients individually or in group settings regarding psychological and emotional problems
Provide education, social work services, basic consultation, and crisis intervention
Supervise individual and group counseling and train new staff
Monitor and coach accurate and timely documentation
Disseminate information from management to therapists
Required Qualifications
Master's degree in social work or counseling
Current unencumbered clinical licensure (LMSW or LCSW)
CPR certification
Crisis Prevention Training/Handle with Care within 30 days
Preferred Qualifications
Previous experience in chemical dependency outpatient care
Direct experience working with chemical dependency and dual diagnoses patients
Strong clinical skills
