• Perform nursing assessments within 8 hours of admission
• Develop and follow individualized care plans
• Document interventions and patient responses accurately and timely
• Engage in interdisciplinary team conferences and discharge planning
• Provide direct patient care in a rehab-focused PCU/Stepdown environment
• Supervise LPNs, CNAs, and orientees
• Maintain communication with charge nurses and physicians
• Take charge nurse responsibilities as needed after orientation
• Promote a safe and collaborative patient and work environment
• Support positive team dynamics and contribute to unit morale
• Educate patients and families throughout care
