Key Responsibilities
Collaborate with the patient care team to promote safe and effective medication use
Identify and address educational needs of staff, patients, and healthcare team members
Precept interns, students, and residents
Assist with coordination of learning initiatives in outpatient pharmacies
Interpret, dispense, and verify medications ordered by authorized prescribers
Required Qualifications
Doctor of Pharmacy degree or equivalent two years of experience
State of Maryland pharmacist license required
Minimum one year direct patient care experience as a pharmacist required
Active CPR certification
Preferred Qualifications
Completion of an ASHP accredited residency program
Advanced certification in area of practice (e.g. BCPS, BCACP, AAHIVP, CSP)
Certified to provide vaccinations preferably upon hire
