Job Description

Join Medical Group Alaska as a contracted Medical Provider, where you'll conduct vital health examinations for service members. Help ensure they receive the best care while growing your practice and making a meaningful impact.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct physical exams for various customers including federal and defense
Perform occupational health exams, pre- and post-employment and annual physicals
Provide written medical opinions based on medical records
Complete Veterans Benefits Administration Disability Benefit Questionnaires (DBQs)
Document examinee records in appropriate systems
Collaborate with other clinical staff as needed

Required Qualifications

Master’s Degree in Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner Studies
Current certification by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA)
National Licensing with ANCC or AANP
Unrestricted medical licensure in the state of hire
Valid BLS OR ACLS certification
Ability to obtain DEA license
Minimum 2 years of post-graduate experience in General Medicine or Internal Medicine
Minimum 3 years of post-graduate primary care experience
Ability to pass a medical clearance

Preferred Qualifications

Experience conducting occupational/disability medical examinations
