Overview
MedAdventures is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physical Therapist to join our multidisciplinary healthcare team. The ideal candidate brings a strong clinical background, adaptability across various care settings, and a passion for improving patient mobility, independence, and quality of life.

Work Setting

• Outpatient Therapy Clinic: Serving patients across the lifespan, including children.
• Acute Inpatient Hospital Beds: Providing therapy in a fast-paced, acute care setting
• Skilled Nursing Facility: Treating long-term care residents (approximately 30 beds)

Responsibilities

• Perform patient evaluations and develop individualized care plans.
• Deliver therapeutic interventions based on current best practices.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members, physicians, and nursing staff.
• Educate patients and caregivers on exercises, home programs, and mobility strategies.
• Accurately document treatment sessions, goals, and progress in EMR systems.
• Ensure patient safety and advocate for best outcomes in all settings.

Qualifications

• Valid MS licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Physical Therapist.
• Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited program.
• Strong knowledge of anatomy and medical terminology relevant to physical therapy practices.
• Experience in inpatient care, acute care settings, is preferred but not required.
