Northside Hospital is seeking a board-certified ophthalmologist specializing in cataract surgery to join their outpatient ophthalmology team in Atlanta, GA. Northside Hospital, a nationally recognized leader in patient care and innovation, is actively seeking a board-certified, fellowship-trained or highly experienced Ophthalmologist specializing in cataract surgery to join our dynamic ophthalmology team in Atlanta, GA . This is an exceptional opportunity for a high-performing surgeon to practice in a collaborative, physician-led environment with dedicated outpatient ophthalmology operating room (OR) space and access to state-of-the-art technology.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform high-volume cataract surgeries with a focus on excellent surgical outcomes and patient satisfaction.

  • Evaluate and manage a wide spectrum of cataract and anterior segment conditions.

  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including optometrists, ophthalmic technicians, and surgical support staff.

  • Utilize dedicated ophthalmology OR space equipped with the latest surgical technologies.

Qualifications:
  • MD or DO from an accredited medical school.

  • Board-certified in Ophthalmology.

  • Minimum 3-5 years post-residency experience preferred.

  • Fellowship in anterior segment/cataract surgery is highly desirable but not required with proven experience.

  • Georgia medical license (or ability to obtain).
