Join MUSC as a Pediatric Interventional Cardiovascular Technologist II, where you'll leverage your skills to assist in diagnosing and treating cardiac disease in patients from neonates to adults. This role demands high technical competency, initiative, and the ability to perform complex procedures safely in a dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities
Assist physicians in diagnosing and treating cardiac disease
Perform and assist in complex technical procedures
Operate safely with ionizing radiation for cardiovascular procedures
Function proficiently during heart catheterizations, electrophysiology studies, and ablations
Required Qualifications
Graduate of an accredited school of Radiological Sciences, RT, or an accredited school for Cardiovascular Technology/CVT
ARRT, CVIS, CRT or CVT certification
Licensure from the South Carolina Radiation Quality Standards Association (SCRQSA)
Current BLS for Healthcare Providers certification
PALS and ACLS certifications (may be completed in first 6 months of hire)
Preferred Qualifications
Cath lab or Cardiovascular specialty certification
