Radiologic Technologist (Rad Tech) – 13-Week Contract

Job Description
ATC Healthcare Services is seeking a skilled and compassionate Radiologic Technologist (Rad Tech) to join our team on a 13-week contract. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality diagnostic imaging services while ensuring patient safety and comfort. This role requires attention to detail, technical expertise, and strong communication skills to work effectively with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.
Key Responsibilities
• Perform diagnostic imaging examinations (X-rays, fluoroscopy, etc.) as ordered by physicians.
• Ensure proper positioning of patients to obtain the best images while prioritizing safety and comfort.
• Operate and maintain radiologic equipment in accordance with established protocols.
• Adhere to radiation safety guidelines and protective measures.
• Accurately document imaging results and maintain patient records.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to provide efficient and high-quality patient care.
• Follow all infection control, HIPAA, and facility policies.
Qualifications
• Active Radiologic Technologist license in Washington
• BLS Certification (required).
• Previous experience as a Radiologic Technologist (minimum 1 year preferred).
• Knowledge of radiographic techniques, positioning, and safety standards.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to adapt to fast-paced environments and work flexible schedules.
• COVID-19 vaccination.
• Recent PPD test or Chest X-ray.
• Must successfully pass background check(s) and drug screening.
