Join Amazon Web Services as a Senior Account Manager to drive growth and innovation for the Department of the Air Force. In this dynamic role, you'll manage customer relationships, develop strategic plans, and lead sales efforts for emerging technologies, ensuring success and adoption across the Department of Defense.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive revenue and market share in a defined region
  • Accelerate customer adoption and customer satisfaction
  • Maintain a robust sales pipeline
  • Work with partners to extend reach & drive adoption
  • Manage contract negotiations
  • Develop long-term strategic relationships with key accounts
  • Meet regularly with DAF and/or DoD leaders and mission owners to understand their mission requirements

Required Qualifications

  • Knowledge of software development practices and data center/infrastructure/networking technologies
  • Experience in business development, partner development, sales or alliances management
  • 5+ years of building profitable partner ecosystems experience
  • Experience developing detailed go to market plans
  • 7+ years of direct sales or business development in software, cloud or SaaS markets selling to the Department of Defense

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's degree in computer science, engineering, analytics, mathematics, statistics, IT or equivalent
  • Prior experience successfully supporting large DoD programs with multiple OEMs, like Lockheed Martin
  • Prior experience successfully supporting the Joint Strike Fighter or similar programs
