Key Responsibilities
Prepare and set up equipment for sleep studies
Interview patients to determine sleep disorder issues
Perform sleep testing and additional required tests
Score, interpret, and report results of sleep studies
Educate patients about test results and available resources
Maintain and repair testing equipment
Required Qualifications
High school diploma or GED
Registered as a Polysomnographic Technologist (RPSGT) or Registered as a Respiratory Therapist (RRT)
BLS certification
Preferred Qualifications
Graduate of an accredited Polysomnography or Respiratory Therapy program
