Job Description
Join Whole Foods Market as a Food Safety & Quality Assurance Team Leader, where you'll lead a dedicated team to ensure food safety and quality standards. Key Responsibilities
Lead daily operations of the FSQA team
Establish a culture prioritizing food safety and quality
Design, implement, and manage quality assurance programs
Oversee environmental monitoring and sanitation programs
Act as primary liaison for food safety and quality issues
Maintain accurate documentation and records of QA activities
Required Qualifications
BA/BS degree in food science, microbiology, animal sciences, or related field preferred
2+ years of FSQA facility experience within food production
12+ months of supervisory FSQA experience in food manufacturing
Ability to develop, implement, and manage food safety and quality assurance programs
Experience in conducting internal and external audits and inspections
Preferred Qualifications
PCQI and HACCP certified
Proven track record of success in an FSQA leadership role
Intermediate computer skills; proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
