Job Description
As a Traveling Project Manager at SAIIA Construction, you will oversee Civil and Construction projects, ensuring quality and profitability while managing client relationships. This role involves significant travel and requires expertise in Heavy Civil Construction or CCR.
Key Responsibilities
Manage all project requirements for Civil and Construction projects
Ensure projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget
Establish project objectives, policies, procedures, and performance standards
Maintain liaison with clients, subcontractors, and vendors
Monitor construction progress and manage financial aspects of projects
Required Qualifications
Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering, Project Management, Construction Management or equivalent
Minimum of 5 years previous experience in an equivalent position
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
Proficiency in construction estimating software
Understanding of civil engineering design and construction methods
Knowledge of mass grading and earthwork, stormwater management, and utility infrastructure requirements
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with job costing, scheduling and estimating contract changes
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and safety documents
