Cardiac Stepdown RN Job Details

• Location: Lewes, Delaware 19958 (Delaware nursing jobs)
• Healthcare Setting: Acute Care – Cardiac Stepdown Unit
• Assignment Duration: 13 weeks (Start: 12/15/2025 – End: 3/16/2026)
• Shift: 12-hour night shifts
• Hours per Week: 36 guaranteed
• Estimated Weekly Salary Range: $1780-$1910
• Employment Type: Travel Registered Nurse

Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Active RN license in Delaware or compact state (Delaware RN jobs)
• Minimum 2 years of recent experience in Cardiac Stepdown, Intermediate Care (IMC), or Progressive Care Unit (PCU)
• Previous travel nursing experience required
• Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS (American Heart Association preferred)
• COVID-19 and Flu vaccinations required

Cardiac Stepdown RN Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to cardiac stepdown patients in an acute care hospital
• Float as needed to Stepdown, Medical-Surgical, Clinical Decision Unit (CDU), and Emergency Department hold areas
• Utilize Cerner PowerChart for electronic health record documentation
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Maintain compliance with hospital policies, procedures, and clinical standards
