Job Description

Join ChanceLight Behavioral Health as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) and make a meaningful impact in the lives of middle and high school students. You will provide essential clinical and educational support, ensuring adherence to standards while fostering a culture of innovation and growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Providing comprehensive training and ongoing support to teachers and educational staff
  • Monitoring and evaluating the quality and effectiveness of academic and behavioral services
  • Supporting staff by demonstrating effective instructional practices
  • Assessing professional development needs of educational staff
  • Participating in staff development activities
  • Training and certifying school employees in crisis management systems
  • Assisting in recruitment and hiring processes
  • Researching and recommending evidence-based curricula
  • Developing and supervising systems to meet individualized needs
  • Conducting regular quality assurance assessments
  • Ensuring compliance with regulations and internal policies

Required Qualifications

  • Master's degree or higher in applied behavior analysis, behavioral therapy or a closely related field of study
  • Licensed currently or in the process of obtaining a board certified behavior analyst (BCBA) credential
  • Well-versed in applied behavior analysis (ABA)
  • Prior experience and/or knowledge in special education services and compliance
  • Highly skilled in working with individuals with severe learning, emotional behavioral disorders, autism spectrum disorders
  • Prior experience and highly knowledgeable in working with students with IEP's
  • Advanced oral and written communication, organization, conflict resolution, multitasking, problem solving, and decision-making ability

Preferred Qualifications

  • Licensed currently or in the process of obtaining a special education credential
  • Prior experience and highly skilled in crisis management systems and intervention
  • Knowledge of relevant technology including experience with computers, Microsoft Office Suite, database entry and basic office equipment
