This position is currently classified as “hybrid” in accordance with Takeda’s Hybrid and Remote Work policy and will be based in Bannockburn, IL.

OBJECTIVES/PURPOSE

  •  Ideate, produce, and execute organic social media content by visiting centers and combining phone-based tools with creative software.
  • Collaborate with social media manager and web manager to design and execute multimedia(photo/video/graphics) content for their channels.
  • Enhance BioLife’s reputation across owned channels, to spotlight the company and drive donor engagement through developing compelling content—reels, videos, graphics, etc.
  • Stay ahead of the curve by leveraging cutting-edge AI tools to streamline workflows, optimize content creation, and enhance storytelling.
  • Communicate with clients and business partners about creative assets through the entire life cycle from production through archiving to ensure timely delivery
  • Act as the digital asset manager, which includes ingesting, curating, and archiving custom content(video/photo) for the business from external vendors
  • Aggregate feedback and facilitate administrative and regulatory approvals efficiently

ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Find creative solutions to level-up user-generated assets
  • Design and execute templates  
  • Capture content (video/photo) in centers to create a repository of assets that can be assembled for various uses on owned channels (website/organic social/email/mms)

  • Reformat all forms of media, including video, photo, and digital for the website, email, and social

Interaction

  • This role will report to the BioLife Creative Lead
  • Primary interaction will be with BioLife Marketing and other BioLife team members within headquarters and plasma centers

EDUCATION, BEHAVIOURAL COMPETENCIES AND SKILLS:

Required

  • Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in creative roles within a marketing department, or advertising/branding agencies, with a focus on digital content
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of internet culture
  • Proficient with Adobe Creative Suite, specifically Lightroom, Photoshop, Premiere Pro, Illustrator, and/or After Effects
  • Demonstrated flexibility in style and execution across a range of production styles and levels.
  • Demonstrated experience interviewing people ranging from “person on the street” to executives/experts.
  • Experience working in fast-paced environments with tight deadlines and evolving priorities
  • Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to articulate creative ideas and concepts effectively to diverse audiences
  • A keen eye for aesthetics and attention to detail
  • A passion for creativity, innovation, and continuous learning in the field of marketing and branding
  • Proficient in Microsoft applications (i.e., PowerPoint, Excel, Word, SharePoint, Outlook, Teams, etc.)

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

  • An estimated 15% of travel (may include global travel) is required to effectively interact with team members at off-site meeting locations, collection centers, labs, and manufacturing facilities.
  • An estimated 20% of the role may require working during non-traditional hours

U.S. Base Salary Range:

$111,800.00 - $175,670.00

The estimated salary range reflects an anticipated range for this position. The actual base salary offered may depend on a variety of factors, including the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, specific and unique skills, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and the location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will be performing the job. The actual base salary offered will be in accordance with state or local minimum wage requirements for the job location. 

U.S. based employees may be eligible for short-term and/or long-term incentives. U.S. based employees may be eligible to participate in medical, dental, vision insurance, a 401(k) plan and company match, short-term and long-term disability coverage, basic life insurance, a tuition reimbursement program, paid volunteer time off, company holidays, and well-being benefits, among others. U.S. based employees are also eligible to receive, per calendar year, up to 80 hours of sick time, and new hires are eligible to accrue up to 120 hours of paid vacation.
