Job Description
Join Amazon Pharmacy as a Pharmacy Manager to lead operations and ensure compliance at a small format pharmacy. You'll oversee safety, quality, and customer experience while mentoring a dedicated team of professionals. This role combines operational leadership with a commitment to patient care, making a significant impact on customer health and well-being.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee overall safety, quality, performance and customer experience of operations
Manage daily operations and meet delivery times
Evaluate physician medication orders for appropriateness
Set expectations and measure performance of employees
Educate pharmacy staff on policies and best quality practices
Drive quality initiatives and manage workflow
Ensure compliance with pharmacy laws and maintain licensure
Develop workforce talent and enhance performance
Implement changes to improve customer service and reduce costs
Required Qualifications
Doctorate or Bachelor’s Degree in Pharmacy
Active/Good Standing Pharmacist license in Oklahoma
Extensive knowledge of state and federal laws, rules, and regulations surrounding pharmacy practices and patient safety
Experience with performance metrics, process improvement and Lean techniques
Strong oral and written communication skills
Ability to manage detail and extract/manipulate data
Flexible schedule including weekends, nights, and/or holidays
1 year Staff Pharmacist experience within Amazon Pharmacy (if currently an Amazon employee)
Preferred Qualifications
2+ years direct management experience in a manufacturing, production or distribution environment
Experience with the full staffing lifecycle
Ability to handle changing priorities and use good judgment in stressful situations
Demonstrated ability to develop others into higher levels of leadership
Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
Analytical thinker with project management skills and exceptional organizational skills
Interest in long-term career development across multiple locations
