Job Description

Join QTC Medical Group as an Audiologist and play a crucial role in providing care to service members. Utilize your expertise in audiology to deliver independent medical opinions and conduct assessments across various settings.

Key Responsibilities

  • Administer and interpret tests to determine type and degree of hearing impairment
  • Evaluate test results and conduct medical record reviews
  • Operate computerized programs and utilize application software
  • Maintain patient confidentiality per HIPAA
  • Conduct otoscopic examinations and calibration checks of audiometric equipment
  • Lead paraprofessional staff training for Audiology-specific skills
  • Complete Veterans Benefits Administration Disability Benefit Questionnaires (DBQs)

Required Qualifications

  • Doctorate Degree in Audiology from an accredited college or university
  • Current unrestricted Audiologist license in the state of employment
  • American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) and/or American Academy of Audiology (AAA) certification prior to hire
  • 3+ years of clinic practice experience
  • Ability to obtain and maintain government clearances

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience conducting occupational/disability medical examinations
