Job Description

Join the U.S. Navy as an Aviation Rescue Swimmer, a vital role in saving lives during extreme conditions. You will undergo rigorous training and be part of elite rescue missions worldwide.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with rescue missions in treacherous conditions
  • Coordinate with pilots as an Aircrewman aboard helicopters
  • Rescue civilians during natural disasters
  • Deliver aid and supplies in humanitarian operations
  • Support Naval Special Warfare Operations
  • Conduct surveillance in anti-submarine warfare and drug interdiction operations
  • Transport troops and cargo to and from ships

Required Qualifications

  • Age between 18-34
  • U.S. citizenship
  • Pass a PST in DEP/Boot Camp
  • Pass Class 1 Flight Physical
  • Meet eyesight requirements: uncorrected vision no worse than 20/100; correctable to 20/20
  • Minimum ASVAB score: VE+AR+MK+MC=210 or VE+AR+MK+AS=210
  • Excellent physical condition and strong swimming skills
