Join Verizon as an Outside Plant Technician and play a vital role in connecting people and businesses. You'll be responsible for installing and maintaining critical telecommunications equipment while working alongside a talented team in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
Connecting, disconnecting, testing, repairing, and maintaining equipment
Operating trucks and equipment safely
Installing and testing access lines for various technologies
Performing construction work for cable installation
Reading and interpreting engineering plans and specifications
Climbing ladders and lifting items not exceeding 100 lbs
Working flexible hours as needed
Required Qualifications
Valid state driver's license with a satisfactory driving record
CDL or the ability to obtain a CDL
Preferred Qualifications
A related Associate Degree or 2 or more years of relevant work experience
Completed Verizon Technician Program or similar programs covering electrical or lineman training
