Key Responsibilities
Perform standard vehicle maintenance and preventive maintenance
Diagnose complex mechanical and electronic problems
Complete mechanical inspections and repairs with minimal supervision
Interact with customers/drivers to determine the nature of complaints
Mentor junior technicians
Required Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent
Basic tools
Demonstrated aptitude in mechanical repair of automotive gas or diesel engines
Routine preventative maintenance experience
Basic diagnostics and repairs knowledge
Minimum of 2 years of experience with mechanical repairs and diagnostics on heavy-duty equipment
Preferred Qualifications
Vocational or Technical Certification
3 years or more relevant work experience
Valid Commercial Driver License (CDL) CLASS A
