Job Description

Join SummitStone Health Partners as a Behavioral Health Therapist, where you will provide critical clinical services to individuals facing behavioral health crises and substance use disorders. Key Responsibilities

  • Facilitation of a Substance Use Disorder Intensive Outpatient Program
  • Direct client care including care coordination, behavioral health screenings and assessments, individual and group therapy
  • Serves as a clinical resource to clinical staff and medical providers
  • Collaborates with staff in planning, developing, implementing, and evaluating clinical services
  • Performs behavioral health screenings and assessments
  • Provides ongoing care coordination within SummitStone and community resources
  • Provides crisis intervention and de-escalation
  • Clinical documentation
  • Maintains superior customer service
  • Participates in committees and projects as assigned

Required Qualifications

  • Master's degree in social work, counseling, psychology, or related field
  • Registered with DORA as a Candidate working towards licensure as LPC, LCSW, or LMFT
  • At least one year of experience in the behavioral health field
  • At least one year of experience with mild to severe mental illness and substance use disorders
  • Facilitation of an SUD IOP level of care

Preferred Qualifications

  • Ability to facilitate a Substance Use Disorder Intensive Outpatient Program
  • Substance Use Disorder Licensure (CAS or LAC)
  • Bilingual/bi-cultural
