Location: Slidell, LA
Start Date: 10/13/2025
Assignment Length: 13 weeks
End Date: 01/12/2026
Shift: Mid Shift, 10-hour | Mon–Thurs, 1:00 PM – 11:30 PM
Setting: Acute Care Hospital

This CT Technologist role supports a fast-paced diagnostic imaging department. The selected candidate will operate fluoroscopy and cardiac imaging equipment, assist in pre- and post-procedure patient care, and collaborate with the care team to ensure quality outcomes and patient safety.

Responsibilities

  • Operate CT and fluoroscopic imaging equipment to perform cardiac and vascular procedures
  • Assist with patient preparation and procedural support
  • Monitor and document radiation exposure, vitals, and hemodynamic data
  • Archive and retrieve images using PACS
  • Maintain cleanliness and readiness of equipment and procedure rooms
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to optimize patient care
  • Follow infection control and radiation safety protocols
  • Perform quality control checks and regular maintenance on equipment
  • Complete accurate documentation for billing and compliance

Requirements

  • Associate degree in Radiologic Sciences (Bachelor’s preferred)
  • Minimum 2 years of allied health experience in a similar role
  • ARRT Certification and current Louisiana licensure
  • BLS and ACLS (AHA) – Required
  • Proficient in fluoroscopy, CT, and cardiac imaging protocols
  • Strong interpersonal, documentation, and organizational skills
  • Familiarity with PACS, Windows-based systems, and clinical applications
  • Must be comfortable with exposure to blood, body fluids, and hazardous materials
  • Ability to work in a high-stress clinical setting with attention to detail

Additional Information Shift: Mid Shift – Monday to Thursday, 1:00 PM – 11:30 PM 10-hour shifts, 40 hours per week Role includes regular physical demands and potential occupational exposure Scrub color not specified – facility will clarify during onboarding Must be adaptable, detail-oriented, and collaborative in fast-paced environments Strong emphasis on quality imaging, safety protocols, and multidisciplinary teamwork
