ER RN Travel Job Details

• Location: Viroqua, WI 54665 (Wisconsin nursing jobs)
• Healthcare Setting: Critical Access Hospital – Emergency Department
• Assignment Type: Travel Registered Nurse
• Start Date: November 26, 2025
• End Date: February 18, 2026
• Duration: 12-week travel nursing contract
• Shift: Five 12-hour night shifts (7p – 7a) per bi-weekly pay period; every 3rd weekend (Friday, Saturday, Sunday); holiday rotation
• Hours per Week: 36 (0.75 FTE, 60 hours per bi-weekly pay period)
• Guaranteed Hours: 30 per week
• On-Call: No call required
• Estimated Weekly Salary: $1780 - $1910 per week

Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (Wisconsin or compact state)
• Minimum 1 year of recent Emergency Room nursing experience
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications
• Ability to work night shifts and every 3rd weekend
• Strong communication, clinical assessment, and critical thinking skills
• Experience in rural healthcare or critical access hospital settings preferred

ER Nurse Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality, compassionate emergency care to patients in the Emergency Department
• Assess, triage, and manage acute and urgent medical conditions
• Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary healthcare team members
• Document patient care accurately and efficiently in the electronic health record
• Participate in holiday and weekend rotations as scheduled
• Support a positive, team-oriented work environment in a rural community hospital
