Job Description

Phaxis Education is hiring a Clinical Psychologist to support preschool students (ages 3–5) in a school-based setting in Scarsdale, NY . You’ll work closely with a collaborative team of educators and specialists to provide psychological services for children with developmental, emotional, and behavioral needs. Classrooms follow 8:1:2 and 12:1:2 staffing models for optimal support.

Schedule

• Monday, Tuesday, Thursday: 8:30 AM – 3:00 PM
• Wednesday: 8:30 AM – 3:30 PM
• Friday: 8:30 AM – 2:30 PM

Responsibilities

• Conduct psychological assessments and evaluations
• Develop and implement individualized behavior plans
• Provide counseling and crisis support as needed
• Participate in IEP meetings and help set developmental goals
• Collaborate with teachers, speech therapists, and occupational therapists
• Maintain documentation in compliance with district and state guidelines

Qualifications

• PhD or PsyD in Clinical Psychology (required)
• New York State licensure or eligibility (required)
• Experience working with preschool or early childhood populations (preferred)
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and collaboration skills
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
