Key Responsibilities
Develops, implements, and evaluates treatment programs for mental health patients
Provides outpatient psychotherapy to individuals, couples, families, and groups
Conducts psychological assessments and maintains confidential records
Collaborates with physicians for psychotropic medication screening
Provides clinical supervision to trainees and fellows
Participates in departmental program development and evaluation
Required Qualifications
PhD/PsyD/EdD in Clinical Counseling, Health or School Psychology
Psychologist License (California) within 6 months of hire
National Provider Identifier required at hire
Familiarity with DSM-V
Experience in assessing, diagnosing and treating psychiatric conditions
Knowledge of Evidence-Based Practice and psychotherapy research methods
Knowledge of bio-psycho-social functions contributing to mental health
Competence in individual, family and group psychotherapy
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
Previous clinical responsibility in crisis intervention, individual and group psychotherapy
Experience in psychological evaluations of various age groups
Demonstrated professional maturity and ethical integrity
Ability to complete multiple tasks/objectives in a timely manner
