Key Responsibilities
Evaluates patients based on departmental standards
Conducts and modifies evaluations and establishes individualized goals
Treats patients with therapeutic exercises and modalities
Educates patients and families on home exercise programs
Documents in accordance with insurance guidelines
Supervises at least one affiliated student per year
Participates in continuing education and departmental in-services
Required Qualifications
Graduate of an accredited program of Physical Therapy with a minimum of a B.S.
Current Connecticut license in Physical Therapy
Strong English communication skills, both verbal and written
Personal computer skills and proficiency in Windows-based programs
Preferred Qualifications
Basic keyboarding skills
Familiarity with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel
Reliable transportation for travel between multiple work sites
