- Role: Registered Nurse (RN) in Invasive Cardiology.
- Experience Required: Minimum 2 years.
- Certifications: ACLS and BLS ( AHA or ARC only).
- Charting System: Epic experience is required.
- Floating: Floating may be required as needed.
- Unit: Invasive Cardiology, which includes four dedicated Cardiac Catheterization Labs and three Electrophysiology (EP) labs
- Procedures:
- Cardiac Catheterizations: Diagnostic, interventional, right and left heart caths.
- Structural Heart Procedures: TAVR, Watchman, ASD/PFO closure, mitral valve clipping.
- Electrophysiology: Complex atrial and ventricular ablations, pacemaker/ICD implants, cardioversion.
- Other: ECMO, Impella, IABP, temporary pacemakers, and pulmonary embolectomy procedures.
- Skills: The role requires strong skills in hemodynamic monitoring, interpretation of dysrhythmias, and various specialized procedures.
- Patient Care: Must be prepared to care for COVID-19 patients.
