Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) Analyst Jr. Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) Analyst We are seeking a highly motivated Jr. Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) Analyst to join our Finance team. This is an exciting opportunity for a developing finance professional with 2–3 years of relevant experience to grow their career in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, collaborative, and eager to learn, with a strong foundation in financial analysis and a passion for delivering insights that drive business decisions. This role will support budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and business performance analysis across departments. The successful candidate will work closely with senior finance leaders and cross-functional teams and will have the opportunity to take on increasing responsibility over time. Assist in the preparation of annual budgets, monthly forecasts, and long-range planning Support month-end reporting, including variance analysis against budget and forecast Compile and analyze financial results, KPIs, and operational metrics for executive reporting Build and maintain financial models and dashboards to support business decision-making Partner with business units to understand drivers of financial performance and support planning needs Support ad hoc financial analysis and scenario modeling for strategic initiatives Continuously improving FP&A processes, tools, and reporting capabilities Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field 2–3 years of work experience in FP&A, corporate finance, accounting, or a related analytical role Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with financial modeling and large data sets Working knowledge of financial systems and reporting tools (e.g., NetSuite, Power BI, or similar) a plus Understanding of GAAP and financial statement components High attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple tasks Comfortable in a fast-moving, evolving environment with a continuous improvement mindset No qualified applicants will be discriminated against on the basis of disability or protected veteran status Seniority level Seniority level Entry level Employment type Employment type Full-time Job function Job function Analyst Industries Telecommunications Referrals increase your chances of interviewing at Confidential Jobs by 2x Sign in to set job alerts for “Financial Planning Analyst” roles.
