Key Responsibilities
Assessing, evaluating, planning, implementing, and coordinating treatment plans
Floating between Trident Medical Center and Summerville Medical Center
Maintaining responsibility for assigned patients
Understanding critical illness and vent management if in the ICU
Responding to Code Blue and initiating protocol
Managing efficient flow of patients and providing general nursing care
Instructing patients and families on medications and treatment
Maintaining and reviewing patients' records
Administering medications as per physician orders
Checking rooms for necessary supplies
Responding to and referring incoming telephone calls
Required Qualifications
Graduate from an accredited school of Nursing (Associate's Degree or higher)
Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the practice state or hold an active Compact/Multi-State RN license
Current AHA or American Red Cross Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
At least two years full-time equivalent Acute Care RN experience in designated area
