Travel Sonographer – Maternal Fetal Medicine (MFM)
📍 Arlington, VA | VHC Health

Assignment Details:

• Start: ASAP
• Schedule: Mon–Fri, 7:30a–4p (may shift to 8a–4:30p as needed)
• Duration: 13 weeks
• Patient Volume: 50–100 daily across 4 MFM providers

Department:
The Sonographer works closely with MFM providers, genetic counselors, nurses, and other staff in a high-volume maternal fetal medicine clinic. Procedures and exams performed include:

• First Trimester, Nuchal Translucency, Early Anatomy, Detailed Anatomical Survey
• Third Trimester Anatomy, Cervical Length, Biophysical Profile
• Multiples & TTTS Protocols
• Fetal Echo & Doppler Studies (Umbilical Artery, MCA, DV, UV)
• Ultrasound-guided procedures (Amniocentesis, CVS, D&C/D&E, Saline Sonohysterogram)
• OB & limited GYN exams

Requirements:

• RDMS-OB & NT (Nuchal Translucency) – Required
• Minimum 2–3 years MFM experience
• Skills: OB/GYN, High-Risk OB, Doppler Studies, Nuchal Translucency, CVS
• Equipment: GE Ultrasound
• Preferred: Fetal Echo (M-Mode) experience
• Experience with PACS & portable studies
