Key Responsibilities
Provide high-quality direct and indirect patient-centered care
Coordinate patient care with the interdisciplinary team
Communicate patient clinical conditions and respond to changes
Perform comprehensive assessments of patient conditions
Collaborate with the surgical team to implement and evaluate care plans
Document nursing processes and responses to care
Maintain patient safety and promote positive outcomes
Required Qualifications
Registered Nurse license in the State of Connecticut
Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing
Certification in Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)
Previous surgical or labor and delivery experience, specifically assisting with C-sections
Preferred Qualifications
BSN degree
Experience in a high-acuity surgical environment
